NU Online News Service, Feb. 10, 11:08 a.m. – Manulife USA, Boston, has introduced an Individual(k) program in response to recent changes to the U.S. tax law in the Economic Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act.
The program, part of Manulife USA's Venture Variable Annuities, is offered to business people who are sole employees of their own businesses.
The plan can be self-administered by the business owner, administered by an independent third party administrator of the client's choice or implemented through a platform offered by BISYS Group, New York, a provider of administrative services to financial firms, Manulife says.
