NU Online News Service, Feb. 7, 3:52 p.m. – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Rhode Island, Providence, R.I., has awarded Perot Systems Corp., Plano, Texas, a 10-year, $450 million contract to run its computers.
Perot has agreed to hire 650 Rhode Island Blue employees to help it implement the contract.
