NU Online News Service, Jan. 8, 4:08 p.m. – Unity Life of Canada, Toronto, has completed the acquisition of the Canadian individual insurance business of Liberty Life Assurance Company of Boston.

The deal excludes a block of accidental death and dismemberment business.

GeniSystems.ca Services Inc., Toronto, will handle policy administration services, Unity Life says.

Liberty Life is an affiliate of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Boston.
