NU Online News Service, Dec. 13, 9:49 a.m. – The New York Life Foundation, an arm of New York Life Insurance Company, New York, has given $250,000 to Junior Achievement Inc., Colorado Springs, Colo., to support a program that educates elementary school and middle school students in 17 cities about the economic benefits of finishing high school.
The cities are Albuquerque, N.M.; Atlanta; Chicago; Cleveland; Dallas; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Fullerton, Calif.; Houston; Kansas City, Mo.; Lafayette, La.; Minneapolis; New York; Phoenix; Pittsburgh; San Diego; San Ramon, Calif.; and Tampa, Fla.
The New York Life Foundation has given Junior Achievement more than $1 million in grants since 1998.
