NU Online News Service, Sept. 18, 1:33 p.m. – CNA Life, Nashville, Tenn., a unit of CNA Financial Corp., Chicago, has hired Charles Harlan to become its assistant vice president for structured settlements.
Harlan previously was president of Structured Financial Associates Inc., Baltimore, a structured settlement brokerage firm he helped form in 1985.
Harlan is a past president of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association, Washington, and a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Falls Church, Va. He has a bachelor's degree from Towson University and holds the Certified Structured Settlement Consultant professional designation.
