NU Online News Service, Sept. 10, 10:03 a.m. – Milliman USA, Seattle, a large actuarial consulting firm, has opened an office in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Milliman has named Camilo Salazar, a Milliman principal, to oversee the new office.
Two other Milliman actuaries, Tom Leonard and Aree Bly, will move to Sao Paulo and manage day-to-day operations, Milliman says.
Milliman expects the new office to sell actuarial services related to life insurance, employee benefits and health care as well as to property-casualty insurance, the firm says.
