NU Online News Service, Aug. 26, 11:09 a.m. – Benefit Partners L.L.C., Bethesda, Md., has agreed to join United Benefit Advisors, Indianapolis, a new producer group for independent benefit advisory firms.
Organizers of the group, which is modeled after producer groups in the life insurance and property-casualty markets, plan to help members with a wide range of lobbying, marketing and support services.
One project is an effort to develop a set of Web-based benefits administration tools that independent benefits firms will be able to effort client employers.
