NU Online News Service, Aug. 14, 10:48 a.m. – Pivot/Info-One, Campbell, Calif., one of the companies competing to sell Web-based annuity sales systems, says it is shortening its name to Info-One.
The company, a unit of Wachovia Corp., Charlotte, N.C., has also set up two divisions, VARDS and Pivot.
The VARDS division will sell the VARDS annuity database, annuity analysis and annuity sales systems.
The Pivot division will handle insurance asset-retention services and insurance Web-site development and administration services.
Wachovia formed Info-One by combining Pivot and Info-One in December 2001.
