NU Online News Service, Aug. 2, 1:10 p.m. – Wachovia Corp., Charlotte, N.C., has agreed to buy Cameron M. Harris & Company, Charlotte, an insurance broker that sells employee benefits as well as commercial and personal property-casualty insurance.
Cameron M. Harris has $27 million in annual revenue and offices in Raleigh, N.C., and Columbia, S.C., as well as in Charlotte.
The price of the deal and other terms were not available.
