NU Online News Service, July 31, 5:15 p.m. – Clark/Bardes Inc., North Barrington, Ill., is reporting $1.4 million in net income for the second quarter on $54 million in revenue, up from $900,000 in net income on $43 million in revenue for the second quarter of 2001.
The benefits and human resources consulting firm says revenue dropped at its compensation consulting unit and banking practice but increased at two units that sell employee benefits and advise employers in the health care industry.
