NU Online News Service, July 23, 11:38 a.m. – BenefitNation Inc., Dulles, Va., has won a contract to supply its I-Provider health care provider directory software to Anthem Inc., Indianapolis.
Anthem will use the software to manage free, Web-based provider directories for 8 million members of its Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield health plans.
Members can use the BenefitNation i-Providers system to sort providers according to specialty, geographic distance, languages spoken and other measures, BenefitNation says.
BenefitNation is a unit of Bertelsmann A.G., Guetersloh, Germany, a large publishing company.
