NU Online News Service, July 18, 3:56 p.m. – CorVel Corp., Irvine, Calif., is reporting $4 million in net income for the second quarter on $66 million in revenue, compared with $3.6 million in net income on $58 million in revenue for the second quarter of 2001.
The managed-care company, which develops provider networks and manages utilization for property-casualty insurers as well as major medical plans, says revenue from its provider network operation and its medical bill review service were up.
