NU Online News Service, July 2, 12:09 p.m. – American Family Life Assurance Company of Columbus, a unit of AFLAC Inc., Columbus, Ga., is opening a 20,000-square-foot customer service center in Omaha, Neb.
AFLAC, which changed its state of domicile to Nebraska in 2001, says the new customer service center will employ 30 people by the end of the year and 100 by 2004.
The facility will provide support for AFLAC's U.S. agents and customers.
