NU Online News Service, Feb. 21, 4:26 p.m. – The Employer-Employee Relations Subcommittee of the U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce has scheduled a hearing on the implications of the collapse of Enron Corp., Houston, for 10:30 a.m. Feb. 27.
The subcommittee has jurisdiction over H.R. 3762, also known as the Pension Security Act, which presents the Bush administration's proposal for increasing the safety of assets held in defined contribution retirement plans.
