NU Online News Service, Feb. 8, 3:37 p.m. –Trigon Healthcare Inc., Richmond, Va., is reporting $41 million in net income for the fourth quarter of 2001 on $758 million in revenue, up from $21 million in net income on $655 million in revenue for the fourth quarter of 2000.
The managed care company provided or administered major medical coverage for 1.1 million people at the end of 2001, 6% more than it covered a year earlier.
Average commercial revenue per fully insured commercial member increased 9.3%, to $503.
