NU Online News Service, Jan. 17, 12:12 p.m. – The Ohio House Insurance Committee is considering a bill, S.B. 171, that would eliminate a law requiring the majority of the directors of a domestic life insurance company to be residents of Ohio.

The Senate passed the bill Oct. 17.

The sponsor of the bill is Sen. Scott Nein, R-Middletown.
