NU Online News Service, Aug. 9, 5:35 p.m. – The Health Insurance Association of America, Washington, is launching a grassroots lobbying campaign aimed at supporting H.R. 831 and S. 627, the Long-Term Care and Retirement Security Act of 2001.
The bill will help individuals deduct the cost of long-term care insurance premiums from their taxable income.
The bill already has 147 co-sponsors for the House version and 16 co-sponsors for the Senate version, HIAA says.
