Reps! What Do They Want?

With apologies to Sigmund Freud's famous remark, one of the open-ended questions on the Broker/Dealer of the Year ballot each year asks reps which products and services they wish their current B/Ds offered. The most often cited in 2008's voting, expressed as a percent of the total answered, were:

Better technology support: 4.4%

Trust services: 3.7%

Discretionary trading: 3.8%

Group health insurance: 2.7%

Paperless system: 2.4%

Commodities trading: 2.0%
