Tina Powell, a longtime digital marketer who worked with fintech, RIA and wealth management leaders, died Friday at 59 after battling cancer.

Powell most recently was partner and chief of community at Intention.ly, a growth consultancy and marketing agency, and produced and hosted the In The Suite podcast, which highlighted women in wealth management leadership.

She previously founded C-Suite Social Media, which was acquired five years ago, and was a partner at Beacon Wealth Management, leading marketing and communications through its acquisition by Mercer Advisors, her LinkedIn profile notes.

"This is how I'll remember our Tina. Laughing, embracing the moment, and reminding everyone around her that life is meant to be lived," Kelly Waltrich, Intention.ly's founder and CEO, wrote in a LinkedIn post.

The post included a video of Powell splashing down a slide into a pool.

"The thing I'll remember most about Tina wasn't her impressive career (it was), the countless people she mentored, or the influence she had on our industry. It was her heart," Joe Steuter, Intention.ly chief of client strategy and communications, wrote in a LinkedIn post.

"Tina had an incredible way of making people feel seen. Every conversation felt meaningful. Every interaction felt genuine. She had this rare combination of wisdom and warmth that made you feel like you mattered. And to her, you really did. It wasn't some show," he added.

"In a world where so many people are focused on being heard, Tina was focused on listening. We get so consumed by performance and recognition, but she led with generosity and encouragement," Steuter wrote.

Amy DeTolla, M&A strategist and founder and CEO at Aureus Advantage, posted: "Tina Powell had a gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and excited about what was possible. Creativity flowed through everything she did. She brought ideas to life, connected people generously, and celebrated the success of others with genuine enthusiasm."

Jamie Hopkins, Bryn Mawr Trust CEO, joined those eulogizing Powell online.

"Tina Powell was such a great friend, supporter, advocate, marketer and human. She was one of the rare people I knew that did the right thing for others because it was the right thing. She helped out without being asked and always did it with such energy," he wrote.

"How many people do you get to work with that you can say 'I love you' to them and it be totally normal? Because that's how it was with anyone close to Tina," wrote Sheryl Hickerson, client services director at RetireStrong Financial Advisors and founder at Finspired Living.

Powell is survived by her partner, mother, brother, two children and their spouses, and three grandchildren, according to her official obituary.
