Parker Ence is the CEO and co-founder of Jump.
Jump, the Salt Lake City-based artificial intelligence-powered operating system for advisors, has seen notable growth recently.
It concluded an $80 million Series B funding round in February and, last week, revealed the expansion of its leadership team. Hires included Torie Happe, vice president of business development; Hannah Springer, head of customer experience; Jarom Chung, senior vice president of product; and Skyler Bloxham, vice president and head of strategic partnerships.
And Tuesday, Jump announced a strategic collaboration with Markel, a global specialty insurer. Eligible firms may have access to education, resources and risk-management support, as well as the ability to explore insurance solutions offered by Markel and placed through Joseph Caruso & Associates, as broker of record, subject to underwriting and applicable law.
Parker Ence, CEO, co-founder and winner of CEO of the Year at the 2025 Luminaries Awards, told ThinkAdvisor with these latest announcements and enterprise adoption at Merit Financial Advisors, Osaic, Cetera and LPL Financial, Jump is "at a clear inflection point, not just as a company, but as an industry."
"Over the past year, firms have moved from experimenting with AI to operationalizing it across their businesses," he said.
Jump, founded in 2023, is used by over 30,000 advisors as an AI-powered note-taker that automates meeting preparation, recaps, follow-ups and CRM updates.
Ence said the firm has recently expanded its focus to a full operating system to help with advisor capacity, organic growth, back-office operations and compliance.
"We still feel that we are only scratching the surface," he said.
Even with these recent expansions, Ence said he doesn't foresee Jump as a replacement for CRMs but as complement to them.
"Firms using Jump get a higher ROI from their CRMs because Jump writes more data into the CRM than it reads from the CRM," he said. "We see the CRM as one of many important integrations, but our focus is different than a CRM. We are looking to orchestrate AI workflows and agents that can complete work for advisors across as many connected systems as possible."
