The Investments & Wealth Institute plans to hold its first of two Experience conferences this year from April 20-21 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., with more than 600 wealth and investment managers attending.

The agenda for the Florida-based gathering is organized across four core tracks: Investment Excellence, Wealth Mastery, Retirement Security and Practice & Client Evolution.

"Experience is meant to spark new ideas, sharpen thinking, and deliver practical value," Sean Walters, Investments & Wealth Institute's CEO, said in a statement. "The agenda is built to give attendees insights they can put to work immediately, whether that means strengthening their practice, improving client conversations, or staying ahead in a profession that continues to evolve."

Headline speakers include Todd Buchholz, an economist and former White House director of economic policy; Dorie Clark, a Columbia Executive Education faculty member and bestselling author; Dan Pink, another bestselling author; and Carl Richards, known to many advisors as "The Sketch Guy."

Also on hand will be Invesco's Brian Levitt and James Anania, as well as Baird's Moe Allain and Steve Parrish of The American College of Financial Services.

Conference topics include tax-efficient portfolio strategies, behavioral finance, cyber fraud targeting affluent clients, family enterprise and pre-IPO planning, retirement planning for business owners and positioning strategy for advisors.

"At Experience, attendees will not find a program dominated by product and service providers. Instead, they will hear from faculty involved in the Institute's certification programs, leading authors and thought leaders, and respected Ivy League academics," Walters said.

The group's second major event for 2026 will take place Nov. 16-17 near Phoenix.
