Flourish, a platform provider of cash-management and other tools for RIAs, has released a residential mortgage solution similar to those offered at private banks. Flourish Lending is designed to gives advisors' clients digital-first access to rates directly from the capital markets and supports refinancing, cash-out refinancing and new home purchase loans of up to $10 million for both primary and investment properties.
"For years, advisors have told us they lose assets to wirehouses and banks when clients need a mortgage. … Flourish Lending changes all that, giving advisors both the rates and the technology to compete on every front," said Max Lane, Flourish's CEO. "Clients increasingly expect their advisors to be their primary financial relationship, not just for investments. Mortgages are one of the most important financial decisions in clients' lives, and advisors need solutions that allow them to stay involved when those decisions arise."
Flourish Lending, currently licensed in over 20 states, expects to have nationwide availability within 12 months. The firm created the offering to build on Flourish Cash, its advisor-focused cash management solution.
"Lending has long been one of the biggest structural advantages banks and wirehouses hold over independent advisors," Dani Fava, chief strategy officer of Carson Group, which partnered with Flourish in 2025, said in a statement. "It's exciting to see solutions emerging that aim to give independent advisors better ways to add value to clients and stay involved in some of the most important financial decisions they make."
At present, some 1,100 RIAs — including Mariner — with $2.6 trillion in assets use Flourish's platform. The platform itself has more than $8 billion in assets under custody and serves over 1,100 wealth management firms. Flourish is owned by Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co.
