New Technology, advisor doing planning work 640 x 640
Fintech firm Kwanti says it has added new features to its portfolio analytics platform to help financial advisors improve their work on cash flow simulations — a critical area when working with both pre-retirees and those in retirement.
Kwanti's Cash Flow Scenarios lets advisors run historical simulations showing how a portfolio could have responded to systematic cash flows over time. Rather than using projected returns, advisors can show clients how different withdrawal and contribution strategies would have actually worked using real market data.
The aim is for advisors to use Kwanti's scenarios in ways that lead to "more confident conversations around retirement income, dollar cost averaging and portfolio sustainability," according to the firm. The four specific scenario types that can now be tested are those tied to dividend withdrawals, fixed dollar withdrawals, percentage-based withdrawals and fixed dollar contributions.
"Advisors have always needed a better way to show clients how different strategies would actually perform in the real world," said Kwanti founder and CEO Christophe Gauthron, a chartered financial analyst. "With Cash Flow Scenarios, we're giving advisors the ability to have more evidence-based conversations grounded in real market history."
Kwanti also recently released Watchlist, a workspace for advisors to monitor securities, track investment opportunities and review market movement. Key features include customizable display, flexible import options, automated price alerts, and multiple watchlists.
"Advisors shouldn't have to juggle multiple tools just to stay on top of the market," Gauthron said.
In addition, the fintech firm says it is working on the development of AI-powered features that "allow advisors to surface insights faster, ask questions in natural language and get a clearer picture of their practice without leaving the tools they already use."
It plans to share more details about this effort, including demonstrations, at the 2026 T3 Technology Conference this week in New Orleans.
