Ritholtz Wealth Management leaders Monday announced updates to the firm's affiliated Exhibit A platform designed to improve client engagement and decision-making through charts and context.
The RIA, which manages over $7.6 billion in assets for high-net-worth clients and institutions, said the platform extends its expertise to other RIAs and financial advisors to help foster deeper client relationships.
The platform transforms historical and real-time market data into engaging charts and graphs that illustrate clearly planning and investing principles, investment performance and risk, according to Ritholtz. The graphics help advisors connect with clients and guide them toward smarter financial decisions, the firm said, announcing the updates at Future Proof Citywide.
"We're obsessed with taking the complexity out of financial data," said Michael Batnick, Exhibit A CEO and Ritholtz managing partner. "Advisors spend a lot of time answering the same questions. Why markets moved. What it means. Exhibit A gives them a better way to show those answers and connect with clients."
Exhibit A's new features include custom-branded monthly market and economic commentary ghostwritten by Ben Carlson, Ritholtz partner and institutional asset management director; expanded planning-related topics integrated into a weekly chart covering developments related to tax rates, retirement contributions and education and legacy planning; charts focused on long-term market behavior; and customizable presentations with client-oriented takeaways.
Since launching last year, Exhibit A has expanded from about 100 charts to more than 160. Nearly 230 advisory firms with $308 billion in assets under management use it, and advisors have downloaded nearly 18,000 charts and generated over 14,000 custom presentations, according to Ritholtz.
Exhibit A is available for $299 per seat, per month, with firmwide and enterprise pricing options available.
