Tom Bradley, a senior vice president at Schwab and head of TD Ameritrade integration
Schwab Advisor Services Chief Client Officer Tom Bradley, who led the TD Ameritrade integration with Charles Schwab, is retiring after 40 years in the RIA industry, the financial services giant announced Thursday. His last day on the job will be Dec. 31.
Brad Losson, who has worked with independent advisors for nearly three decades, has been named to a new leadership role similar to Bradley's, the company said.
“Tom has made a lasting mark — not just at Schwab, but across the entire RIA industry," Jon Beatty, Schwab Advisor Services head, said in a statement. "His energy, optimism, and genuine drive to help advisors thrive have lifted all of us. He’s been a true fixture in this space, and while he may be stepping back, we know he’ll still be cheering us on. We’re incredibly grateful for his leadership and wish him all the best in this next chapter."
Bradley's retirement comes over a year after Schwab shook up its executive team, with Bernie Clark leaving his role as head of Schwab Advisory Services. The changes included tapping Bradley as chief client officer.
Before joining Schwab, Bradley spent three decades at TD Ameritrade, including several years serving as president of the institutional and retail businesses, he notes in his LinkedIn profile.
Losson, currently head of enterprise solutions for Schwab Advisor Services, will become sales and relationship management head and continue on the advisor services leadership team. Schwab Advisor Services will assess leadership talent across the organization and beyond to identify the right person to take over from Losson as enterprise solutions head, the company said.
“Brad has been side-by-side with RIAs for nearly 30 years, building trust through real understanding and a steady, client-first approach," Beatty said. "He knows this space inside and out, and we’re excited for him to carry the torch and lead us into what’s next."
