The hybrid registered investment advisor platform Osaic and the estate planning technology provider Vanilla have announced a new strategic partnership aimed at providing Osaic's 11,000 affiliated advisors with the ability to enhance client relationships and deliver more holistic wealth management services.
Through the partnership, Osaic’s national network of financial advisors can now access Vanilla's comprehensive estate planning platform to streamline complex processes and create planning scenarios.
Joe Gaeckle, a senior vice president of high net worth and financial planning solutions at Osaic, cited Vanilla’s ability to support “intricate estate planning requirements” as a key driver of the partnership.
“Estate planning has become essential to comprehensive wealth management, especially as our clients navigate increasingly complex financial landscapes and multi-generational wealth transfer needs," Gaeckle said in a statement. “Vanilla empowers our advisors with the sophisticated tools and expertise they need to serve as trusted guides for families at every wealth level.”
The news comes about a week after Osaic separately secured an “exclusive license” to utilize Wealth.com’s Family Office Suite services designed to support the estate planning needs of advisors’ most affluent clients.
Through both partnerships, Osaic is aiming to provide its advisor network with more advanced capabilities that meet clients’ heightened expectations — allowing them to grow their practices more quickly and serve clients more effectively.
“This partnership represents a significant step forward in delivering comprehensive planning solutions,” added Gene Farrell, CEO of Vanilla. "Osaic advisors can now leverage estate planning as a powerful tool to enhance client retention, build deeper trust, and most importantly, help clients achieve greater confidence and clarity in their long-term wealth strategies."
Other advisor platforms to have recently adopted Vanilla’s include Mariner, which tapped the firm for estate planning support back in April.
