The Financial Services Institute announced Tuesday that it has launched FinancialCareers.org, an online platform to attract and inform students, recent graduates and career changers about jobs in the independent advisory space.
The site also includes a career center that connects qualified job seekers with employers and career opportunities. FinancialCareers.org was developed in coordination with FSI’s Next-Gen Task Force.
“With increasing demand for financial advice and an aging advisor population, there is a growing need for new, diverse talent within the industry,” said Dale Brown, FSI president and CEO, in a statement. “The independent financial services industry offers an array of exciting career opportunities—whether you’re interested in fostering client relationships as a financial advisor or seeking a more corporate environment at an independent financial services firm.”
FinancialCareers.org offers a job board and career center, powered by YM Careers, with features for both job seekers and employers.
Job seekers, for instance, get access to career resources and training as well as professional development tools — including resume review services and career coaching. Personalized job alerts and the ability to apply directly to open positions are also available.
Employers, meanwhile, are able to offer multiple types of job postings, including Job Flash emails to job seekers registered through FinancialCareers.org.
