Mark Tibergien, the financial services industry consultant who was Pershing Advisor Solutions' CEO, has been tapped as the first advisory board member for merchant bank Nesvold Capital Partners, led by Peter Nesvold.
Tibergien, a former columnist for ThinkAdvisor, is listed as one of three team members at Nesvold, according to the firm's website, indicating that a director will be announced soon.
Tibergien, who retired from Pershing in 2020, also serves as advisor in residence for Ernst & Young's wealth and asset management business and has written four books about practice management, the Nesvold websites notes.
Founded in 2020, Nesvold Capital Partners, a wealth management M&A advisory boutique, has advised or invested in 22 wealth management firms managing over $300 billion in client assets, according to its website.
CityWire reported on Tibergien's advisory board role earlier Tuesday.
