Morningstar Inc. on Monday announced a new software application for financial advisors and investment professionals, Direct Advisory Suite, meant to streamline tasks such as conducting research, generating client proposals and building and analyzing portfolios.
The Direct Advisory Suite takes advantage of Morningstar Data+Analytics' comprehensive capabilities, the investment research firm said.
The offering expands the capabilities of Morningstar's Advisor Workstation application, combining a more intuitive interface with enhanced features for a simplified advisor experience.
"Direct Advisory Suite represents the next evolution in advisor software," said James Rhodes, Morningstar's Direct Platform president.
Rhodes added that it helps advisors provide clients with personalized advice that is easy to understand. It also uses artificial intelligence to find key insights, generate client talking points and find data quickly.
Direct Advisory Suite is the advisor application for Direct Platform, Morningstar’s unified foundation of data, analytics and research that supports its enterprise solutions. It is now available to advisors in North America, and Morningstar expects to expand into additional markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and the Asia-Pacific region later this year.
Advisor Workstation clients will be upgraded to Direct Advisory Suite throughout 2025, Morningstar said.
