Getting all the holiday shopping done always takes a bit of effort. And finding the perfect gifts for everyone on your list can make your head spin.
If money is no object, the options can seem especially dizzying. Many of the priciest gift ideas are luxury versions of everyday products.
There wasn't enough room under our tree for more than our Top 10 Ridiculous Luxury Gifts, but there were plenty of others to choose from. A $95,000 special edition Mustang and 24 bottle of orphan-barrel bourbon for a cool $125,000 didn't make our cut. (Orphan barrel liquor, we're told, is found left behind by the distiller. Presumably, the extra aging makes it a delicacy.)
One oddity we noticed this year was the use of crocodile hide in a couple of our gifts. We guess PETA would not be a fan.

This crocodile-embossed leather box from Neiman-Marcus contains plenty of games to occupy the recipient who likes the thrill of a little gambling. Black and crystal dice, cards a roulette wheel, poker chips and a game mat are included.
3. Emilio Pucci Skateboard
Price: $395
The adventurous teenager in your life needs to look just right when rolling through town. This Emilio Pucci skateboard might cost eight times that of a plain version, but what price can be put on looking good?
4. Bionic Bopper Cars
Price: $17,000
Why bother heading to the local amusement park, when your kids can have the home version of bumper cars from Hammacher Schlemmer to play with whenever they want. For the cost of a good used car, they can spend hours ramming into each other in these hybrid robot cars. Rock 'em sock 'em fund for sure.
5. Crystal Backgammon Set
Price: $800
Daniel Chadwick has used his background in art and engineering to produce sculptures and products known for their "mechanical evocation of nature," according to his website. Don't think of this acrylic backgammon set as a game, think of it as art.
6. Cristallino Foosball Table
Price: $12,600
Luxury versions of popular games are popular. Leave it to the Italians to create a crystal and chrome version of the beautiful game–the tabletop version, called foosball.
7. 45 More Toys

We aren't quite sure what to make of these figurines, which follow up on the original run of Toys, which we hear sold briskly. They are more collectibles than toys, apparently. 8. Couture Diary
Price: $10,000
Keeping track of all the outfits in the walk-in closet is hard work. Fortunately, Nieman-Marcus has a solution that can't help but bring a smile when the gift box is opened. Not only does the Scandinavian calfskin diary include pages on which to record the "story" of each couture outfit, 20 of them will be hand dawn by artist Abigail Vogel. Hand-tolled 24-karat gold is used to personalize the case and diary.
9. Dolce & Gabana Headphones
Price: $8,895
The princess in your life can't be caught listening to tunes with any old pair of headphones. These Dolce & Gabana headphones decorated with leather, rhinestone and Swarovski crystals – complete with a crown made of metal – will make the lady in your life feel oh so special. It might be something Daenerys Targaryen of Game of Thrones would wear. And it won't even set you back 10 grand.
10. Ulubulu Diamond Pacifier
Price: $17,000
For the infant on your gift list, what could be better than a pacifier made of 18-karat white gold and encrusted with more than 250 pave-cut diamonds from Ulubulu? Amazingly, despite the price tag, the item is not recommended for use. You'll still have to pick up a plastic pacifier for the wee one.
