A report from the Insured Retirement Institute (IRI) based on data from Beacon Research and Morningstar, has unveiled that fixed annuity sales have cooled off after a five-year high, while variable annuity total sales remain stable. The report based its findings on final third-quarter 2014 sales results from the U.S. annuity industry.
