Clear health costs helps consumers determine if medical costs will be just expensive, or really, really expensive

It's not too difficult to find the lowest price on a flat-screen TV or a new condo, but it's not so easy to shop for the lowest price on a mammogram or vasectomy. Clear Health Costs, a new startup based in New York, is hoping to tear down the curtain of secrecy between medical procedures and their costs.
