The course of treatment for lung cancer has been mostly a crude guess, and, sometimes, a wrong guess at that. Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong believes technology and science are at the point to bring cancer to a halt. "Not to cure it, per se, but to make it a survivable feature of the human condition," Soon-Shiong says.
