Part-time workers for company's who have dropped their coverage in the wake of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act are getting mixed results when they look to purchase insurance on their state exchanges. For some, it is slightly cheaper, for others, slightly more expensive. States that have decided not to expand Medicaid have led to the formation of a gap: Individuals who make too much to qualify for subsidies but too little to afford coverage.
