For some wounded veterans, strong prescription drugs can be cause of more pain

Many veterans return from the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq only to be greeted by the pain that accompanies a challenged economy, post-traumatic stress disorder and the lack of camaraderie that accompanies civilian life. Veterans also experience physical pain from injuries they have sustained abroad and more often than not, they are treated with highly addictive and highly dangerous prescription drugs. For many, this is the beginning of a whole new battle.
