The Food and Drug Administration recently proposed 10 parts per million as the safe level for inorganic apple juice. This threshold is the result of a protracted battle featuring Dr. Oz, arsenic, "Good Morning America," the head of the Centers for Disease Control and prevention, and the FDA. Sounds like a dangerous mixture. The truth is, we consume more arsenic than one would think, apple juice drinker or not.
