The Obama administration's increase in federal regulations has surpassed the regulatory cost of the Bush and Clinton administrations combined. These regulations, which cost money in an effort to save money over the long term, are a point of contention within the business community and the country in general. For many, even in the post-recession environment, where the lessons of deregulation are as fresh as the wounds, this is seen as too much government.
