What would a country without gerrymandering look like? Well, we are not entirely sure, but Steve Coll seems to think it would be much better than the status-quo. It could be a utopian dream or a dystopian dream depending on whether you are strong believer in the importance of the electoral college or not. But in any outcome, it would empower the average voter a little more.
