Judy’s notebook: Getting what we want

Judy Woodruff's 91 year-old aunt understands it so, why can't the government? Barack Obama should not look at his re-election as a mandate to be stubborn but rather he should look at it as an opportunity to employ that very basic tenet of democracy; making progress through bargaining. The American public has been woefully reminded over the last few years that they can't have everything that they want in life now it is time for our two political parties to be reminded as well.
