The Newark Star-Ledger is reporting that a telephone number that once belonged to the New Jersey Office of the Ombudsman for the Institutionalized Elderly now leads to a phone sex service.
The office serves patients in nursing homes and other state-licensed long-term care (LTC) facilities.
Dan Goldberg writes that the office changed the telephone number awhile back but that the old number is still on old office brochures and on some websites. The office has the correct number – (877) 582-6995 00 – on its own official website, Goldberg writes.
