The Bank Insurance & Securities Association (BISA) has hired James McNeil to be executive director.
McNeil previously was executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Bank Administration Institute, Chicago.
BISA began a search process to fill the executive director position in October 2010, according to BISA President Marc Vosen.
BISA recently moved its headquarters to Washington from Wayne, Pa., and it named SmithBucklin Corp., Chicago, an association management company, to administer day-to-day operations.
