InsWeb Corp., a company that helps agents find consumers who need automobile insurance, has scooped up a firm that locates consumers who need health insurance.
InsWeb, Sacramento, Calif. (NASDAQ:INSW), has been narrowing its focus and getting out of the business of providing term life quotes, but it now has expanded its scope by buying Potrero Media Corp., San Francisco.
Potrero is a marketing agency that focuses on health insurance search marketing and lead generation activities, InsWeb says.
