The city of Chattanooga, Tenn., has picked Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. (NYSE:HIG) to provide group life, group long-term disability and group accidental death and dismemberment insurance for 2,300 public employees.
The LTD plan includes access to emotional, financial and legal counseling services, and the group life plan includes will preparation and funeral planning benefits, according to Hartford Financial, Hartford.
The benefits package also provides travel assistance and travel medical assistance services.
