Health savings account asset averages increased significantly during the 12-month period that ended June 30.
The average individual HSA balance increased 7.1%, to $1,038 in the second quarter, from $969 a year earlier, according to Canopy Financial Inc., San Francisco.
The average family balance increased 9.7%, to $1,825, from $1,663.
