A recent industry survey finds that 56% of respondents who have health insurance are against a government-run health care plan or are not sure how they feel about such a plan.
The survey by Trusted Choice and the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America, Alexandria, Va., also found that about 23% of those in favor of a government plan would no longer support it if it were their only option.
More than 85% of respondents said it was important to have a choice of insurance companies and the ability to change health plans, according to the study's sponsors.
