Baby boomers who planned for retirement reported worse losses, on average, than those who didn't plan, according to a Consumer Reports National Research Center poll. Furthermore, those who used a financial planner lost money at about the same rate as those who didn't. Is this merely a sign of the times? Can something be done to restore boomer confidence in retirement planning?
