The Securities and Exchange Commission is holding an open meeting Wednesday in Washington to consider adopting amendments that would define fixed-annuity-related terms under the Securities Act of 1933. The meeting's agenda also includes discussions about changes to financial statement filings and mutual fund risk/return summaries and approval of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board's budget for next year.
The meeting will be open to the public.
