The general agency division of the Word & Brown Companies has introduced the BeneSaver program.
The Web-based program provides discounts on weight-loss programs, smoking-cessation programs, vitamins, Lasik surgery, and other health care products and services, according to Word & Brown, Orange, Calif.
The program is designed for small and midsize employers that cannot afford the sorts of wellness programs that larger employers offer, Word & Brown says.
Group health brokers can enroll customers' employees in the BeneSaver program when enrolling the employees in the health plans, Word & Brown says.
