John Hancock Funds is making new technology and video commentaries available on its Web site for financial professionals.
Hancock, Boston, a unit of Manulife Financial Corp., Toronto, says new features include a podcast by William Priest, an executive at a firm that manages the John Hancock Global Shareholder Yield Fund, and a Flip Book system that can give users quick access to 12 of the company's monthly marketing discussions.
One of the discussions talks about ways to reach out to new investors, such as existing clients' college-aged children and grandchildren.
