Blue Cross of Idaho has awarded a new 5-year pharmacy benefits management contract to WellPoint NextRx.
Idaho Blue, Meridian, Idaho, has been using WellPoint NextRx to manage pharmacy benefits for its 550,000 health plan members since 1997.
WellPoint NextRx, Thousand Oaks, Calif., is a unit of WellPoint Inc., Indianapolis.
The value of the Idaho Blue deal was not available.
